Chapter 1
It had been five years since Mint found her prince and married him. She thanked him every day for marrying her. Besides, she was happier with him than she would ever be if she was actually married to Peter.
Their happy bundle of joy, Mariah, was such a jewel in Mint's eyes, she was her mini Mint. She looked nothing like her father, but more like her mother.
She looked more human, although she was half doll. Mariah did not have a jewel on her forehead, she was happy that she was considered normal.
Mariah was coloring in her bedroom when she heard a knock on her door. It was Rue.
"Good morning Mariah."
"Good morning daddy. What is happening today?" Mariah asked.
"Well, I want you to play with Marisa today. Mommy and I have some things to talk about."
The five-year-old red-head did not understand by that.
"Marisa is mean. Why does she always have to get her own way?" Mariah said, as she looked away and looked at the picture she was coloring.
Rue walked up to her and sat by her on her desk.
"Well, sometimes people are hard to understand even by the way they treat us. But, Marisa loves playing with you. She told us so." Rue said.
"Mommy said that Aunt Maya used to treat her like that. And Mommy always got her feelings hurt." Mariah said.
"Ahaha... She said that huh? Well, your mom usually is sensitive, but sometimes she gets over it." Rue said.
"I know, by jump-kicking. Mommy taught me how to jump-kick, so if Marisa is being mean, I can do that to her." Mariah said.
"You do that. I have seen your mom and aunt almost kill each other this one time and I didn't even know that they are sisters." Rue said.
"Really Daddy? Mommy and Aunt Maya look almost identical! People think that Marisa and I are twins, because we look alike and we are the same age and share the same birthday." Mariah said.
"I know. Well, go find your cousin and play with her, I need to find your mommy and talk to her." Rue said.
"Alright..." Then Mariah went to go find Marisa so that they could play.
