Chapter 12

Ricky and Mariah decided to get married a week after Marisa and Michael.

One day, when the family was getting ready for Mariah's upcoming wedding, Rosa wanted to ask Mint something.

"Mom? You know, you never told me or Mariah, but how did you meet dad?"

Mariah smiled as her mother was looking at her daughters.

"Well, I knew that one of you would ask me one day. So why not now?" Mint said.

"It's just that, we always wondered how you ended up with dad." Mariah said.

"Well, let me tell you okay? It all started when your aunt and grandfather sent me away." Mint said.

"What? Why would they do that?" Rosa asked.

"Well, it was because I was a lazy and selfish child. Maya told me that East Heaven would not be happy with a queen like that someday. I really had to change my ways." Mint said.

"Okay, so how does dad end up in the picture?" Rosa asked.

"Wait, I am getting there. So, I wanted revenge on your aunt. So, I went to Carona and I learned there was a (relic)." Mint said.

"Oh I heard about those. Aeons created them didn't they?" Rosa asked.

"Yea, something like that. I wanted to take over the world, but instead, I met your father." Mint said.

"When did you both fall in love?" Mariah asked.

"Oh another time, when we found another (relic). I'm lucky your daddy is my prince and he is better than world domination any day." Mint said.

"Well, didn't you think he was weird at first?" Rosa asked.

Mint nodded. "Oh yes, I always thought he was a weirdo. I fell in love with his personality later on. I needed someone to help me change!"

The girls enjoyed their mom's story. That made Rosa wonder, would anyone look at her like that?

Finally, the day of Ricky and Mariah's wedding had arrived.

It was a small wedding, not too fancy and not very many people attended.

It was mostly just close friends and family that attended.

Rue walked Mariah down the aisle and he couldn't stop crying, he didn't even know that it would ever be possible for him and Mint to have children, but it was.

Mariah was a daddy's girl and loved being her father's little princess.

It was a beautiful wedding, with the wedding vows, the "I dos" and followed by the wedding kiss, Mariah and Ricky were officially married.

Rosa was very excited for her sister to find her prince. But she wondered, would anyone look at her and like her just the way she is?

Ricky and Mariah went to Carona Village for their honeymoon. They were gone for a week and came back later with life changing news!
