Chapter 3

Mint was walking by when she heard Rue's voice.

"Hi, Mint."

Mint's heart raced as she looked into those brown eyes that melted her heart.

"Oh, how long have you been here seeing Elena?"

"Just a couple of days. What are you doing here?" Rue asked.

"Oh, uh I was just going to do some book signings here." Mint lied.

"No, you came to find me because you have feelings for me." Rue said as he walked closer to her.

"What? Who told you that?!"

"Your book." Rue said as he wrapped his arms around Mint.

"Rue? You never got my book, except Claire read it."

"I know, Elena read it to me." Rue said as he leaned closer to her.

"Is that enough?" Mint asked, as she was waiting for Rue just to kiss her.

"Yes, I love you and nobody else." And he broke the gap between them and pressed his lips hard on her own.

They made out for a long time before finally parting.

"Well, I think I'm glad that you learned my feelings just from my book." Mint said.

Rue smiled. "Yes, I haven't read the whole thing. How about we head to my cabin, and we read it with Claire?"

Mint nodded, and they packed up their things and left Carona.

Mint was happy to be with Rue and it was the best book she ever wrote.
